Ben Crow
I was born in San Antonio, Texas and spent the first 13 years of my life moving from place to place due to my father’s occupation as an Air Force pilot. I graduated from High School in San Antonio, Texas and received my undergraduate degree from Marquette University in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Shortly after college I joined an organization called the Jesuit Volunteer Corps and moved to San Francisco. While in San Francisco I worked for a branch of the San Francisco Bar Association called the Homeless Advocacy Project, whose mission is to provide legal representation for homeless men and women and those at risk of becoming homeless. In the fall of 2000 I moved from San Francisco to Houston, Texas where I attended law school at Texas Southern University. After graduating from Law School my wife and I moved to Minneapolis, MN to enjoy the seasons and to be closer to her family. Since moving to Minnesota I have been an active member in the Minnesota Bar Association and the Volunteer Lawyers Network.

I was born in Chicago, IL and grew up in Tinley Park, IL, a south suburb of that great city. In 1999 I graduated from Marquette University in Milwaukee, WI with a bachelor of arts in Social Work and then worked for Marquette University as an Assistant Program Director for their Service Learning Program. I attended law school at Suffolk University Law School in Boston, MA before transferring to University of MN Law School in Minneapolis, MN. I was admitted to the Minnesota State Bar on October 31, 2003. Since that time I have worked with Volunteer Lawyers Network on criminal expungement cases, the Karmel Mall Clinic and the LAP Clinic. I am also a member of the Minnesota State Bar Association, the Ramsey County Bar Association, the American Trial Lawyer’s Association and Minnesota Women Lawyers. When I am not working, I enjoy running and have competed in two marathons. My husband, Sam and I also enjoy traveling and have seen much of the world, and are always looking for our next adventure.
